Public Relations for Small Businesses: Avoiding and Surviving a Crisis

Public Relations for Small Businesses: Avoiding and Surviving a Crisis

A crisis is any event – business or personal – that disrupts your company and takes your eye off the ball. Depending on how they’re managed, crises can be short-lived and temporary, or they can threaten the very existence of an organization.  Smart planning and effective crisis management can have a significant impact on the duration and scope of a crisis.

Through this call participants will gain:

  • A keen understanding of the potential threats – from a technology glitch to a death in the family – that could develop into a business crisis
  • A walk-through of the pieces of a crisis management plan and why it’s critical to have one for your business
  • Confidence in handling the media during a crisis
  • Tips for engaging others in the crisis management process
  • Ways to use a crisis as a learning experience and enhance your business reputation

All attendees will also receive FREE complimentary resources on best practices for handling a crisis.  To register to attend the webinar on Thursday, December 15 at 4:00 PM Easter, click here.
